He has contributed to work by artists such as Joan Armatrading, David Bowie, The Talking Heads and Brian Eno to name just a few. He has released many solo albums since the early 1980's and continues to do so from his home studio in the Nashville area. An accomplished drummer as well, his music can be at times very reminiscent of The Beatles and even Roy Orbison, and at other times can take the listener far into outer space. --- Matte Kudasai from 'The Acoustic Adrian Belew' 1993 --- from 'Inner Revolution' 1992: Inner Revolution This Is What I Believe In Standing in the Shadow Only A Dream I'd Rather Be Right Here I Walk Alone --- From 'Here' 1994: Fly Never Enough Here Brave New World Futurevision --- From 'Mr. Music Head" 1989: Hot Zoo Cruelty To Animals --- From 'Here' 1994: Postcard From Holland Hidden Track #13 (Fly reprise) outro background: Richard Pinhas/Efrim/Event and Repetitions --- Obscurities In The Dark is produced by Paul Kurzweil Original content ©2003 Mutant Music Co., Administered by Kurzweil Music Publishing, BMI
