This subject comes up from time to time. We're not afraid to get hard, as long as it's progressive. It has been my contention that DT is the least progressive rock band there is that is considered so (well, maybe Queensryche is up there, too). Ayreon, Rush, Mago de Oz, and others we all play because although they're hard, they're also clearly creative and progressive.

Please point us to a DT song that you consider progressive. I'd actually like to hear what you have to say.
