I seem to recall this discourse. If I'm right, folks were complaining about long waits for their own request. I can understand that, but I can't imagine AM, or prog itself, without long songs. It's one of its hallmarks. Limited to short songs, AM would be like, well, all those radio stations that refused to play long songs, but were crazy enough to play the four-minute cut of Thick as a Brick. I hated that! Of course, on the other hand, I like to hear variety. And I like to hear new stuff. And I wish I didn't have to spend time listening to music I have become bored with.
