A very sad loss. I remember hearing Boston's first album on the Alan "Fluff" Freeman Saturday Rock Show. He played "More than a feeling" and "Long time" and I was knocked out. The vocal was astonishing.

I saw Boston at the Rainbow a little later and thought they were amazing live too.

That band "upstairs" just keeps getting larger.
