AFTERLIFE will appear live in concert on Saturday, October 21st 2006 at 8:00 PM at “The Landmark on Main Street – The Jeanne Rimsky Theater”, 232 Main Street, Port Washington, NY 11050.

The Jeanne Rimsky Theater is an acoustically designed 425 seat air-conditioned theater with great sightlines to the stage and a state-of-the-art high-end audio system. The evening’s performance will be recorded live off the board and mixed to CD for future release. Several Dream Theatre segues will weave a few songs together as well.

From the first wave of “Symphonic/classical” innovators like England’s YES, Genesis, and Emerson, Lake & Palmer in the early 1970’s – to the “New World/Art Rock” music of bands such as Rush and Kansas -- to the “Neo-progressive” songs of Asia and Saga in the early 1980’s – AFTERLIFE pays tribute to the seminal period of progressive rock with spot-on performances of hallmark tunes from the masters.

AFTERLIFE: The Ultimate Progressive Rock Experience recreates the sounds and aura from the golden era of the genre by taking the audience on a journey back in time featuring a full light show, atmospheric effects, and stage sculptures -- combined with state-of-the-art full-fidelity stereo sound. They faithfully reproduce the textures and reconstruct the music note for note – from ELP’s interpretation of Aaron Copland’s “Fanfare for the Common Man” to the songs of YES including “And You and I” and “Heart of the Sunrise”.

For younger folks, this is what it was like to be there in that magical decade – and those who’ve been there will be transported back….
