Aggh, argh, I lost the original reply I posted. Damn!

What did I say?

Some of the more ambient Djam Karet, particularly from "The Devouring" and "Burning the Hard City."

Stomu Yamash'ta is a good choice -- if you can find "Freedom is Frightening," try that, too.

Tom Verlaine's "Warm and Cool." Wonderful album.

Steve Naive's "It's Raining Somewhere" -- nice piano. Goes well with Moraz/Bruford and Hackett/Hackett's Satie recordings.

Fripp and Eno. Also Harold Budd, Jon Hassell, and Michael Brook.

Byrne's "Catherine Wheel" would go well with the previously suggested "Bush of Ghosts." Even some Talking Heads tracks like "The Overload" or "Drugs."

Some of Pink Floyd's old film recordings such as "Cirrus."

Damn, I forget what else I put down.
