Like we always end up agreeing on "It's really all just a matter of taste"

"Everybody Must Get Stoned" or whatever the hell that song is called is one of the most unlistenable pieces of garbage I have ever heard, yet it's beloved. Let's put the onus on the real problem, the yuppies that keep this stuff going.

I really don't think Neil Young gives a rat's ass about how he's perceived. That's the bottom line here.
I've never understood the Springsteen thing myself and I'm residing in the fatherland. If you said that here Rick, they'd lynch you. I spoke with him at the bar of one of the Seastreak ferryboats back in the autumn of 2001 on the way home from a computer security dog-n-pony gig I did at a NYC bank. He and his mother took the ferry from Highlands (Bruce resides in Rumson so the Seastreak is almost in his backyard) to go to the city. He's very pleasant to speak with and when he asked me what my favorite song of his was, I said none of them. He didn't seem surprised and just kept talking.

That is the funniest thing I have heard in a long time. Even I wouldn't say that!

(don't know if I can work now)
