good one

I was thinking Lenny white for 9 orig cause they did Beyond the 7th Galaxy - but I think you're right!

I already thought of some good ones for keyboards, but I still only have 5 correct.

Keith - 1
Moses -1
good job - though I'm surprised no one has gotten 8 yet. But I don't think anyone needs clues yet...

I have so far at least 8 for the next one, no hurry, shoot for early next week.

The only Snake I know is the cat from Voivod, but they're not on AM!

Could 8) be referring to Barrimore Barlow (Thick As A Brick?) An excellent and underrated tactician of the drum kit.

BBarlow it is, Rick. I agree, very underrated. Two left, probably the hardest of the bunch...

#7

#7 is Josh Baruth of the Appleseed Cast. His nickname is Cobra. All the liner notes to all TAC's albums say something like...

Christopher Crisci: Guitar, Vocals
Cobra: Drums
Aaron Pillar: Guitar...

etc...

Time to tickle the ivories

Continuing on the theme, here are ten more brain busters. The first eight appear on Aural Moon, and the last two do not, but are very well known.

A major hint: all of the clues except for #8 are variations on the keyboardist's name only - no albums, no other references.

1) Swank times by the river?
2) Sweet dreams are made of this namesake.
3) Put-off in the Middle East?
4) Illegal smoke on the water?
5) Jesus loves your wife more than you will know!
6) Revolutionary Prog hero?
7) European high flier, but neither an eagle or a birdie.
8) Finally over the hump, but sadly late, too soon.
9) King of the toilets!!!
10) British cop in sheep's clothing?

1 - Tony Banks
5 - Andrew Robinson (Magus)
6 - John Paul Jones
9 - Alan Loo but you probably mean Elton John

I was set to reply to your guesses and JPJ appeared!

1 and 6 are right!

I need another Robinson for #5. I'll give you 1/2.

I didn't know you were on-line, so I was editing the post. I'll stop that. Elton John is number 9. and John Robinson from French TV for #5

no, that's cool

no need to stop editing posts!

Keith's gonna kill you if you get them right!

Elton John is another good guess, but it does not exactly fit the answer.

I'll give you the Robinson one, since you've already said two of them - Peter from Brand X was it, but there's nothing in the first name that means anything to the clue.

Jim has 1,3,5,6,7 and Keith has 8. Damn Jim I thought Rudess would be harder!!!

Keith next time I'll post this in the morning. But, there's still four left. Oh, Wakeman is not right, and #2 should be an easier one. #4 is difficult, and 9 & 10 are not on AM, and Jim has eliminated two guesses on #9 already!
