That Monkee stuff is great! Very psychedelic and very surprising.

Paul's msuic is going to make it here on the station's regular playlist - I just have to remind myself to put it on.

Another great show, man!

One of the few good things I got from my second marriage was an appreciation of the Monkees (she was a big fan). Turns out Peter Tork was a serious musician, and the whole band was determined to play their own music and get away from the Milli Vanilli-type lip synching and fakeouts that they were forced to accept during their early years. Micky Dolenz is a legitimate singer, and worked like hell to learn to play drums.
