Rethinking Obscurities In The Dark

Heya Stick dude. I'd sure like to accomodate you, if I can even find anything from that band, however I have something more important to decide.

Either I am playing the wrong shit or I'm playing the right shit at the wrong time, because NO ONE IS RESPONDING.

I am sick to death of working my ass off to get this stuff to you people only to get nothing...no response, no opinions, no advice or suggestions. Not ONE post to the forums in WEEKS.

Get off your asses and write in and tell me what you think. If you haven't done so, register in the forums.

Is the show playing at the wrong day and time or am I just playing uninteresting garbage? If you wanted to hear Camel, Yes, and King Crimson every time, I won't bother.

SPEAK UP, YOU FREAKS, OR I'M OUTTA HERE. :-)

Paul,

Being on the west coast, your show is in the wrong time slot for me. I have caught it a few times for a very brief listen and would enjoy getting more if you can get a different time slot....

Hi Paul,
I like the music on the show and I like the commentary that links the pieces together. I have listened more than a few times, but when I have missed, it is usually because I am out and about on Friday night.

I do listen when I am home, but might be able to hear it more frequently if it were on a weeknight. I am on the American East Coast so that would be starting about 0000 GMT.

Keep on keepin' on,
Stickman

PS: I am still hoping to hear Thinktree! <8-0

Wrong move....

Nothing like a little slam at your listeners! Here's my deal. I, along with many others, lead very busy lives. Frequently I kick myself in the ass for posting too much, and not enough listening. But I just can't do it. I've posted before here, and I see you did a neat theme on Steve Vai. I enjoy your work.

No, I don't want to hear what I own - I want to hear stuff that falls through the cracks (or chasms). You're missing the point. If you enjoy doing what you are doing, do it. If not, don't. Sound simple? Thought so. Many of us would love to do what you do. If you don't enjoy it, don't let the CD player hit you in the ass on the way out.

I can't listen to Aural Moon at work - the system is not compatible, and I work now for a small business and need to hustle. And, I have three kids and many other interests. A lot of times, I will just look at "What's Playing" or scan the forums.

I'm only speaking for myself. There may be other issues at play. But I suffer from a severe lack of time. That's it.

In summary, make your decision. But a word of advice - don't ever slam your audience again.

After reading this post the decision is quite easy.

Obscurities In The Dark is hereby cancelled.
