GUITAR VIRTUOSOS PERFORM LIVE IN GAGLIARCHIVES STUDIO JULY 20th.

PEMBERTON, NJ. -- Delaware Valley based progressive rock radio program the GAGLIARCHIVES will be featuring 2 guitar virtuosos amidst their current acoustic tour of the east coast. Scott McGill, guitarist/composer of the current fusion powerhouse McGill, Manring, Stevens, and guitarist/composer from the Gong alumni, and many fusion projects, Bon Lozaga. Both guitarists are amidst a tour of the East Coast this summer, with some shows opening for Buckyball recording artists Tunnels, featuring Percy Jones. http://www.buckyballmusic.com

This also marks the first live performance of 2002 for the GAGLIARCHIVES. Scott McGill's upcoming double CD release titled Controlled By Radar, features the previous lineup of Michael Manring, and Vic Stevens. The new release showcases the trio in a electric and acoustic, straight ahead, free jazz style. Scott will be featuring tracks from this upcoming release, to be released on the Free Electric Sound label. http://www.lasercd.com. You can visit Scott's new site at http://www.scottmcgill.com. Bon Lozaga, a Delaware Valley native also, joined Pierre Moerlen's GONG on the Expresso II album when Stomu Yamashta heard one of his demo tapes and referred him to the group. After Gong, he was in a short lived trio with Eddie Jobson (violin, keyboards) and Mark Craney (drums) in a project that was a follow-up to Eddie's band U.K. In the last decade, Bon has regrouped with bassist Hansford Rowe and formed BON, his first solo project, his own record label, LoLo Records, http://www.lolorecords.com, and currently continues to record with Gongzilla, a fusion showcase of a project, and Project Lo, which blends acoustic guitar with electronic music and features the mysterious and captivating cult vocalist Happy Rhodes. Bon and Scott have recorded many times in our studios over the years, but never have they played as a project. This marks a first in the genre. This Saturday night's show will also feature the world premier of the new Planet X CD, Moonbabies, Renaissance Illusion, Through The Fire, music from Emerson, Lake, and Palmer's Trilogy, and The Underground Railroad to just name a few.

The GAGLIARCHIVES have been providing progressive rock for the Delaware Valley on the radio for the last 11 years, and can be heard on 88.9 FM WBZC, 95.1 W236AF, through http:www.wbzc.org, and http://www.auralmoon.com. The program airs from 10pm to 2am Eastern Time.

I voted for Yes - Magnification becaus Rush - Vapor Trails was not on the list. Dang, that album is good. Takes a lot of listens to get all the nuances out of there.
