Look, I just got two nice CD's from a band named Auroris. I'll be uploading them to the Moon sometime soon enough. And I will play them on my show. If I just played them on my show, all I need to do is own it myself. But if it's on the Moon, the station must own it. If I own something and upload it, it's considered to be on the station. The way I understand it, Jim needs an actual disc in case an audit is done. I can have a disc and as long as I am "working" for the station, it should be ok for me to own it.
So that's why we should wait on this one, especially since it's popular. How about we don't open a can of worms?
And I may be wrong, but even if Tony from Auroris says to play his CD (and he will, and is happy for the exposure), that doesn't necessarily mean we're allowed to play it. We have to have a copy.
