Join the GAGLIARCHIVES, Tonight at 10pm Eastern Time,
for program 885, as we spotlight one of the great
progressive rock labels in the Laser's Edge. Laser's
Edge began as a mail order for prog-rock in 1988, and
released their first disc as Laser's Edge label in
1990. Since Laser's Edge first release, the label has
literally been on a roll. Discovering new musical
talent, unearthing audio gems, and having some of the
greatest musicians and composers amidst wonderfully
engineered and mixed recordings has been the
reputation of this label. Ken Golden, President, we'll
join us to discuss the releases from 1990 to 1994.
We'll feature music from Canadian bands Spirit Of
Christmas/Christmas, and The Plastic Cloud, Virginia
project A Triggering Myth, Spanish band Coto-En-Pel,
Swedish band Landberk, The Load, Salamander, Schicke
Fuhrs and Frohling, and many, many others. We'll also
be featuring a giveaway of one of Laser's Edge classic
releases. Tune in for a great gathering of stories,
history, and of course, music. We'll also feature our
#1 disc for the 3rd straight week from New England
band Helmet Of Gnats and their new self titled
release.
