Bizarre, isn't it?

I think my biggest problem with Neil Young is my perception that he has a nasally whine ala-buzzing mosquito singing voice. Now I realize that I'm definitely not in the majority in my assessment of his voice, but MAN it grates on my nerves in the WORST way. Always has.

I've heard tell that his live show is something completely different and that I should give his live show a shot before condemning him like I do, but I just can't justify plunking down my hard earned dough on a proposition like that.

(If Rick hadn't taken the Sunday EP slot, Greendale would have been one of my choices for last Sunday's show. I guess I would have had to cue that one up myself, hah?)
I'm afraid so, Jim. I would have had a VERY hard time bringing myself to queueing it up. Principles, donchaknow. I could have gotten things lined up, but hitting that last button....I'm just not sure I could have done it, ya know?

Roger -Dot- Lee, it's the principle of the thing, you see....
