Where are you from?

Ok, I'd love to hear where everyone is listening from.

We are of course broadcasting from lovely Wichita, Kansas.

Dosdas 06-09-2001 06:11 PM

X-Ternal 06-10-2001 12:20 PM

Listening from Québec, Canada in the most prog lover (Can I say that?:Þ) area. And the stream is nice under DSL here.

Avian 06-10-2001 02:54 PM

Going to the Rick Wakeman concert in Quebec?

Dosdas 06-10-2001 03:20 PM

X-Ternal

Good music is alive as long as you're listening.:D

X-Ternal 06-10-2001 05:50 PM

Avian-

Nah not Wakeman, working that weekend. I thought of maybe going to see Styx but the dates are a little blurry so i might not.

Missed Jethro Tull last year, heh I'm not lucky lol

Dosdas-

By that I meant that groups and artist have trouble making original and worthwhile music :Þ

BigTwin 06-11-2001 01:25 PM

I'm listening from OKC on DSL...seem to have a lot of dropouts today (6/11)...it's usually pretty clean! Keep up the good work!

Yesspaz 06-11-2001 04:39 PM

Jackson, MS

Jackson MS, or Birmingham AL.

Queens ParkPete 06-12-2001 03:31 PM

Where from

Listening in from the new city of Brighton, England..... radio in the UK is Cr*p so you are producing an essential service. I ve got Marillion's "Brave" pumping out at the moment... not sure if they really cut it out of Europe though, so you may have no clue as to what I'm talking about.

Powerslave 06-12-2001 04:53 PM

Plymouth, Minnesota here (NW suburb of Minneapolis)

Great station, guys!

Powerslave

Lost Dreams 06-13-2001 02:51 PM

Cleveland Ohio for me. Aural Moon is great because of the selection and the speed the requests get played.

ThomasJedenfelt 06-13-2001 03:50 PM

Hello Avian from Wichita,

I'm from Tyresö, a municipality at the border of Stockholm archipelago, 20 km south-east of the City.

I've lived here all my life. The best thing about Tyresö is its forests and lakes. We even have a national park, with a primeval forest.

Thanks for the Aural Moon broadcast!

Regards...oh, you're playing 'Mystic Rhythms' by Rush. One of my favorite bands!... from

mummy 06-13-2001 07:15 PM

I listen from W Kingston RI. Great station!
I see absolutely no problem with you adding Dream Theater. What's the difference between them and old Rush anyway.

Lerxst 06-14-2001 08:11 PM

Australia

I'm a "Yank" living Down Under,the radio stations suck s*#t here,so this website is great!Intersesting though,just before I moved down here,my long lost girlfriend(of 13 years gone) called me up wanting to well,you know...anyway she lives in Wichita,Kansas.Good thing I can'ty find the song..."It's a small,small world!"

Dosdas 06-14-2001 08:29 PM

sailaj24 06-15-2001 05:54 PM

Bob 06-16-2001 07:46 AM

AlgoX 06-20-2001 02:53 PM

Thomas: Wo, i´m from Tyresö aswell.

ThomasJedenfelt 06-22-2001 02:57 PM

Hello AlgoX

Okay, what a coincident! Tyresö's a small town of 40000 inhabiant. Wonder what the odds are that the two of us showing up in this small message board? So, we may encrypt our conversation ;) Swedish is the key!

Jaha, så du e oxå en Tyresöbo!? Har du varit det länge? Själv är jag född här. Apropå progrock, har du hört Mind's Eye? De repar i Fårdalskolan. Kanonbra!! Var på deras release party förra året. Hur bra som helst!! Å de håller på att spela in en ny CD.
Kolla in deras webbplats http://www.roundrec.com/

Right! Back to the official stuff ;)

The rest of you might find the link interesting. It's a Swedish progressive rock band from Tyresö! Check it out!!

Thomas

ADDITION
Mind's Eye isn't really from Tyresö. But they have their rehearse studio here.

progdirjim 06-23-2001 12:27 AM

Bienvenidos

I've seen several replies from Mexico, so here I go...

Bienvenidos Mexico! Estamos contentos a tenerlo.

Forgive my poor Spanish - hablo muy poco (pero mia esposa habla muy bien - ella viva en Tijuana/Ensenada por tres anos)

Let us know if you'll be attending the next progfest (altough I know it's really far from Mexico City), because I plan on being being there, and maybe I can talk Avian into it as well...

Hankles 06-23-2001 09:37 PM
