Divine In Sight

Just wanted to recommend this amazing band Divine In Sight. Their debut release just came out a couple months back.

DIS is sensational on so many levels (strong vocals, musicianship, etc). The first thing that strikes you is the resemblance to early Rush (their lead vocalist sounds like a dead ringer to Geddy Lee). There are many other influences though (Yes, Queen) with keys and choir vocals present. If you love epic tracks, this album has a 50+ minute prog rock opera.

I have listened to all the sample tracks given at the sight. Good assertive musicianship sure to please the Rush/Transatlantic/Spock's Beard and some Yes fans (like me), especially if you like Neil Peart style of drumming and Squire/Lee type of bass playing. The rock opera is sort of a reverse 2112 in concept. Thanks for the recommendation.
